Requested and monitored by the SSM, the NPL Stocktake report collects and reports information mainly from the FINREP dataset, providing an overview of the Credit Facilities portfolio. In addition to the basic FINREP classifications, the report requires a further analysis on Restructuring methodologies/solutions, as well as a more complicated analysis on the movement of Non-Performing Facilities between two reference periods (i.e. previous year VS current quarter being reported). Additional information on the effectiveness of recovery procedures is requested, such as the average duration of legal cases as well as the amounts recovered as a result. Finally, the report requires an extensive amount of data on collaterals obtained by taking possession/foreclosures.
